Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, some Ghanaians who travelled outside the country have been stuck in other countries due to the closure of Ghana’s borders.
Some Ghanaian celebrities who are currently not in Ghana and have called on the government to bring them back to the country are Kwaw Kese, Pappy Kojo and Sarkodie.
But contrary to reports that D-Black and Sarkodie are in the United States of America, Ghana’s Ambassador to the USA, Baffour Adjei Bawuah has disclosed that the two rappers are not in the USA.
Speaking to Serwaah Amihere on GHOne on Tuesday morning, the Ambassador said Sarkodie and D-Black are not part of the Ghanaian nationals in the USA who have expressed interest in returning home.
H.E Bawuah noted that per his confidential checks, Sarkodie currently in Europe and not the USA.
According to earlier reports, Sarkodie was returning from a trip to Spain before he got stuck in the USA after Ghana’s borders were closed on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
