Artiste manager, Bulldog has said he has had about seven women who are asking him to manage them even after he publicly stated that he cannot manage a female without including sexual relationship.
He said he had to ignore them and engage one on Facebook where he told her he cannot do it after she expressed interest in adding the sex bit to the managerial tasks.
Reiterating his stance on why he does not manage female talents while speaking on United Showbiz June 6, he said “I cannot work with female artistes without sleeping with them. I don’t mean I’ll force myself on her. I’m saying along the line, it’ll happen because of the relationship. I can’t force myself on anybody. I’ve never done that. I don’t even see myself doing that.”
He believes most of the men managing female acts have sexual relationships with them but lie about it and that he wants to stand out instead of pretending.
“Most of them will lie… maybe there are some who can be disciplined but my thing is, when it starts, they lie about it. For me, I want to stand out. I want to be different.
“Funny enough, this week I’ve gotten like over six or seven women who want me to help them in music and I ignored their text and I spoke to one on Facebook and I told her straight away that Charley, me, I can’t do this… For the work, I’ll do it perfectly. By the grace of God I am blessed with managing talents so, there is no way you’ll be my artiste and you’ll be disappointed but I can’t hold myself (not to sleep with her),” he said.
He further added that aside from being “unprofessional”, women are not focused like the men and that they let their emotions take the better part of them.
“Men do not hold on to issues for long. When you engage yourself in a business with them, it flourishes. Sometimes it’s less of emotions but with the opposite sex, emotions are involved. With guys, it’s easier. It’s difficult but easier, no matter the situation, there’s a goal, there’s a purpose to achieve. Moreover, more of the men are focused so you’re able to work with them for long but the women sometimes there are problems.”
