Ghanaian professional boxer, Braimah Isaac Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has lost his mother.
This sad incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Koforidua Hospital in the Eastern Region.
According to the boxer, his mother had been battling with an illness for almost 17 years.
The demise of his mother made him shed uncontrollable tears on Asempa FM where he broke the news.
“I’m on my way to Koforidua, I’m told my mother has passed on at the Koforidua Hospital this morning, she had been battling with an illness for almost 17 years, and it has not been easy, we are three children, and I am the first, so I have been taking care of her by paying her visits but this morning, I received a call that she has passed away,” Bukom Banku revealed.
He also added that he lost his dad many years ago.
Braimah had an undefeated record until October 21, 2017, where he lost to Bastie Samir at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana, at the seventh round.
