Highlife artiste, Kwabena Kwabena has expressed his disappointment in some of his industry colleagues who turned down an invitation to feature on his upcoming album.
Kwabena Kwabena, real name George Kwabena Adu made this known in an interview with Joy Prime’s Ibrahim Ben-Bako.
According to him, although he sent five invites to different artistes to feature on his new album, only one of them gave an affirmative to appear on the song.
He added that some of the artistes and their managers kept tossing him until he closed the album without their feature. He went on to describe it as unfortunate.
“When I was doing my album. I invited a couple of artists I sent the song to them, placed personal phone calls to them, and followed up. It gets to a point where these artistes are actually making me talk to their managers when I’ve spoken to them but I’m still humble. Spoke with the managers and they keep saying ‘oh, we go sort you out ‘ and it’s like six months, seven months. So I had to close an album and leave them out, but I want to say this, it’s very unfortunate.”
