For some time now, Wendy Shay has stopped writing, “Ghana, wake up” on social media.
She told AJ Sarpong on ‘The Chat’ on Citi TV that she stopped because she needed to channel her energy into more profitable ventures.
“The thing is, I’m busy making money. It’s good for me to utter my opinion but I got to realise during the corona season that these trends don’t really bring money,” she said.
Asked if Ghana has awakened now, she replied, “a bit.”
Wendy Shay is currently promoting her 10-track ‘Shayning Star’ album. She featured 10 artistes on the album; seven Ghanaian and three from outside the country.
