Nigerian singer Moelogo has called out Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie for not giving him credit after singing the chorus for his Fireworks song.
According to Moelogo, he wrote and added his voice to the song which features American rapper Wale.
In a series of tweets, he called out the rapper for denying him of the credit.
He said a lot of such issues could easily be resolved but human beings don’t like communicating, suggesting that Sarkodie or his team may not have responded to his concerns.
According to Moelogo, if one sings a chorus for someone else’s song, their name should be written as FEATURED ARTISTE, unless there’s a prior and signed agreement that the artist will be a ghost.
For those who don’t know, if you sing a chorus your name should be there as a FEATURED ARTIST. If you write a song then you should be put in credits. Unless there’s a prior & signed agreement that the artist will be a ghost. Common sense is not common.

He wrote in another tweet that when an artiste is an underdog and they fight for their rights, there is always an issue, the underdog is always considered the bad person. But he can’t be muzzled because this is his source of livelihood.
When you’re the underdog and you fight for yourself and what is right, there will always be an issue, the underdog is always the bad guy. I keep to myself, I am the only one fighting for myself. This is how I eat. It is not a joke.

For most people, Moelogo’s reaction comes as a surprise to them because he has had a good relationship with Sarkodie. In fact, he was featured on Sarkodie’s ‘Comeback’.
