MzVee names the best song ever written for her by Kuami Eugene

MzVee has mentioned that the best song that has ever been written for her is ‘Daavi’ by Kuami Eugene.

She said in an interview with Nkonkonsa.com that she wanted a song that talks about her, so she sat with Kuami Eugene and developed the concept, and then Eugene made a song out of it for her.

MzVee showed appreciation to Kuami Eugene and commended him for his exceptional talent.

MzVee, a former signee of Lynx Entertainment, the same company that handles Kuami Eugene and KiDi, left the record label in 2018 after 8 years of producing hits there.

Not long ago, she was not happy when some people said that Kuami Eugene was ahead of him in the music industry.

Speaking on Zion Felix TV monitored by ghanaweekend.com, the musician stated that, “comparing her to Kwame Eugene is like comparing Sarkodie to Yaw Tog, the latter is a new artiste who is now climbing up, whereas Sarkodie started his music career so many years ago. The craze and fame Yaw is enjoying now has already been enjoyed by Sarkodie. This doesn’t mean Yaw is ahead of Sarkodie”.

This claim was referenced to a video posted on social media where Mzvee forgot to acknowledge the presence of Kwame Eugene and eventually classified him as a ‘New artiste’.

“I feel like comparing new to old is a bit tricky, because I have enjoyed the craze that Kwame Eugene is enjoying today. I’ll be celebrating my 10th year in 2022, and I don’t think you can even compare the two of us”, she added

The two artistes were both signees on Lynx Entertainment until Mzvee left the record label in 2018. The two musicians have two songs together titled “Rewind” and “Bend down”.
