The mother of Funny Face’s children, Vanessa Ama Anokyewaa, has said in a recent interview on Royal TV that Funny Face prevented her from pursuing her career in entertainment when they got together.
Vanessa, who was a musician and an actress before she started dating Funny Face, said even though she had some good moments with the comedian, things did not go as she wished.
According to her, Funny would rather want her to be at home and take care of the children than continue with her entertainment activities.
“There were times when they came to his house to shoot ‘Kasoa Trotro’. He prevented me from taking part in the shoot. He even stopped me from doing music,” she noted.
She even mentioned that she had a song with rapper Medikal, but Funny complained that she would only allow it to be released if she cleaned some profane words.
Vanessa and Funny Face have not been on good terms for the past year after the latter went berserk on social media, accusing her of abusing him and hiding their children away from him.
When she visited Funny Face at the Psychiatric Hospital the first time he was admitted at the facility earlier this year, she vowed to return to Funny Face’s house on the condition that he would perform her marriage rites.
