You may have heard that actors Maame Dokono and David Dontoh were once in a relationship, but … did you know they were together for over ten years?
Well, Maame Dokono says they dated for that long but couldn’t take it to the altar.
She disclosed on UTV that she had to let go of David Dontoh because she didn’t want to waste his time.
She explained that David wanted marriage while she wasn’t ready for it.
“Actually, I married twice in my life. I won’t count the men I dated as marriage. There was a time I wasn’t married, but I was dating, everyone knew the man as my husband, that was David Dontoh,” she said.
The two started dating when they both starred in the ‘Obra’ TV series.
They even toured different places together for their concerts.
The veteran actress says touring places together with her colleague for programmes reined in on any temptation that was likely to come her way.
