The Chairman of the Film Classification Committee, Socrate Safo, has said that it is not necessary for Ghanaians to deliberately choose a name for the Ghanaian film industry.
Speaking on Peace FM, Socrate Safo said none of the film industries the world over went for meetings to choose their brand names.
According to him, he thinks it is unnecessary to choose a name for the Ghanaian film industry.
After sifting entries of proposed names to 10, the National Film Authority will, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 announced the official brand name for the industry.
