In the wake of the government’s resolve to make COVID-19 vaccination mandatory, Ghanaian actress Efia Odo has registered her displeasure about the whole directive.
As part of the new COVID-19 protocols at the Kotoka International Airport, people who intend to travel out of Ghana must be vaccinated.
Unhappy with this, the Ghanaian actress took to social media to vent her spleen on the matter.
“Malaria has killed more people than COVID-19 (approximately 20,000 people yearly) but they’re mandating us to take a vaccine. Taking a vaccine should be a personal choice and not a mandatory decision. Guess I’m stuck in Ghana cuz I’m not taking any disapproved vaccine,” she wrote.
Her tweet has stoked a fiery debate on social media, with some hurling insults at her.
