Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, says he is 27 years old.
We at ghanaweekend.com don’t give a hoot about someone’s age. It does not put food on our table, but we can’t stand inconsistencies like what Medikal is portraying with his age.
It appears most celebrities have a penchant to reduce their ages.
Apart from footballers who are notorious for this act, other showbiz people also do so, so that people would think they have been successful at a young age, or they still have more years to do greater things in their career. A few also increase their ages for specific purposes.
In 2017, Medikal told Delay in an interview that he was 25 years old.

Again, in 2019, he wrote in a tweet he was 25. How can one be 25 in 2017 and 2019 and be 27 in 2021?
In a recent post he made about owning seven houses at Aburi, he noted that he has been able to achieve all these at the age of 27.
It is either Medikal does not know his age or is just lying about his real age.
We congratulate him on all his achievements, but lying about his age is no achievement.
