What was considered one of Shatta Wale’s usual rants has sparked a beef between him and Nigerian artiste Burna Boy.
Yesterday, Nigerian artiste Burna Boy sent out a message to Shatta Wale following the statement he made during his Freedom Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on 25th December, 2021.
A few hours after Burna Boy left Ghana for Nigeria, he made a series of posts, saying if Shatta Wale has a problem with him or any other Nigerian artiste, he should have a one-on-one fight with him, so the solve the issue afterwards.
This has generated in a back and forth between the two artistes.
After Shatta Wale replied Burna Boy’s post that he is ready to lyrically fight Burna Boy, the ‘African Giant’ has launched a tirade against Ghana’s dancehall king.
During his performance, Shatta Wale said Ghanaians have opened their doors too wide for Nigerians, a reason most Ghanaians despise Ghanaians artistes.
He believes that Ghanaian artistes can also do great things like the Nigerians but they don’t reciprocate their shown shown them by Ghanaians in their country.
According to Shatta Wale, most of Nigeria’s big acts have to have a stint with Ghana to break through.
This has generated a lot of debate with some Nigerians raining insults on Shatta Wale on both social and traditional media.
