Apart from music and nursing, gospel artiste Diana Hamilton would probably have been a newscaster.
The 2021 VGMA Artiste of the Year said in an interview on Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi that she found music while she still had an interest in nursing. However, reading the news could have been an option for her.
According to her, she actually thought about it after she started her music career.
Diana who is admired by many for being articulate says she started her music journey at the age of 14 while working as a backing vocalist for Francis Agyei.
She released her first album, ‘Ɔsoro Bɛkasa’ in 2007 and went on to win the music industry’s biggest award 14 years later.
She has been nominated in the Female Artiste of the Year category in this year’s Entertainment Achievement Awards.
