Rapper Sarkodie says he’ll stay indoors when he returns to Ghana.
Sarkodie who is currently out of the country wrote in a post, quote: “Staying indoor when I touch down GH … Zoom calls only … #FuelPrices.” Unquote.
His post is apparently inspired by the recent hikes in fuel prices in the country.
He’s not alone! Most Ghanaians have also complained about the increase in fuel prices, which has affected the price of other commodities.
For someone who has overly been mauled for not being hard on the current government as he used to do in the past, some have said that his post is reflective of the struggles of the ordinary Ghanaian.
In the past, Sarkodie did songs like ‘Inflation’ and ‘Masses’ to address the woes of citizens and charge duty bearers to be up and doing.
While some have called on him to do another song to address the current issues in the country, he believes the messages in his old songs are still relevant and timely.
