Music fans should be getting ready to listen to another secular-gospel collaboration if the wish of Yaw Tog comes to pass.
The young Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, known as Yaw Tog in showbiz, recently said in an interview with Angel FM in Kumasi that he would like to do a song with gospel musician Joe Mettle.
According to him, he would like to feature Joe Mettle on a gospel song he has on his forthcoming EP. He says the song will be in English.
The ‘Sore’ hitmaker said he revels listening to Joe Mettle’s songs.
“I love to enjoy his music. Anytime I sit in my manager’s car, we listen to his music, mostly ‘Bo Noo Ni’, he said.
But will Joe Mettle do a song with a secular artiste considering the backlash gospel artistes like Celestine Donkor and MOGMusic received for having some secular acts on their songs.
