Blakk Rasta would not hesitate to ban boxing if he had the opportunity to change one thing in Ghana.

The reggae musician and broadcaster told Nana Tuffour and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV’s ‘Upside Down’ that boxing is a barbaric act that should not be entertained.

In the interview monitored by ghanaweekend.com, Blakk Rasta said the whites introduced boxing to black people, so they would fight, and hurt each other as they get entertained.

“In my first one hour of governance, I will ban boxing in this country. It is barbarism. Why should you be beating each other?” he asked.

Adding that boxing is a sadist sport that gets people to clap while others suffer.

He added that he would also make sure every school studies Kwame Nkrumah as an authority. According to him, lessons on Kwame Nkrumah in our various schools are not treated well, hence his wish to change the situation if he gets the power.
