Tereo Marghuy, father of Achimota School ‘rasta’ student, Tyron Marghuy, says his son is going through a transition to becoming an adult and that their recent disagreement should not be misunderstood by the public.
This comes barely 24 hours after Tereo, in a video, accused his son of violently attacking him during a family disagreement.
In an earlier video, Tereo accused his son of cutting his hand with a sharp weapon during the altercation.
“He had a dispute with his sister, and I went over to ask him why, and he simply disconnected his laptop and walked over me, and that is what he has been doing all of these years.” Tereo was referring to the fact that Tereo had gone to him to ask him why he had just done that.” Tereo had bemoaned.
However, in an interview with Angel TV, Tereo, rose to the defence of his son, claiming that Tyron was not under any negative influence.
When asked if his son was under the influence of a substance to make him behave that way, Tereo stated emphatically that neither he nor his son drink or smoke.
According to Tereo, Tyron is going through a transition from childhood to adulthood.
He defended the actions of his son by saying that he was only going through a phase of “manliness” and that he didn’t mean to portray him as a bad boy.
The Marghuys’ became popular after they took Achimota School to court over the school’s insistence that students with long hair must be forced to trim or face dismissal.
