Ghanaian celebrity and lifestyle blogger, Ameyaw Debrah has stated that he does not go out looking for gigs because his work speaks for him.
Speaking on Upside Down, Citi TV’s lifestyle variety show on Sunday, the renowned blogger admitted that he is not good at marketing his brand but fortunately for him people who appreciate his work reach out to him for gigs.
“I haven’t done well in terms of marketing, mine is to do the job and let people have access to me when they need me. I don’t go out looking,” he told Nana Tuffuor and Frema Adunyame.
“I think I’m not that good at selling myself, but I think that sometimes once the work speaks for itself everybody else will see it,” he added.
Ameyaw Debrah is the founder of AmeyawDebrah.com, an entertainment website, and blog that primarily publishes news about Ghanaian celebrities.
Whilst at KNUST, he won the Best Publishing Student award in 2005 and has made significant contributions to several Pan-African websites, including Jamati.com, orijin-ent.com, and ModernGhana.com
