Ghanaian highlife artiste Kuami Eugene has said in a new interview that he is one Ghanaian artiste that almost everyone has picked a beef with.
He told Quincy Jonze in an interview on Echoo Room in Nigeria that the artistes who pick a beef with him do so because he will give them talkability.
“I am one artiste almost everyone has picked a beef with because I am everywhere. If you need buzz, it’s me. If you need one week attention for everybody to get involved in the conversation, attack Kuami because they know I’m gonna reply you,” he said.
However, he said recently he told his management that he has changed and would not mind anyone if they come at him.
According to Kuami, typically he would not do diss songs to glorify people who have fights with him. He would rather do a hit song and maybe drop subtle jabs at the people without mentioning his name.

He made this statement when he was asked if he has his “other side” apart from having a positive outlook to life.
He said growing up in a place like Fadama in Accra, Ghana has toughened him to all manner of attacks.
According to him Fadama ranks among the top ‘wild’ areas in Ghana, adding Ashaiman, Korle Gono and Nima.
Kuami Eugene is not only known for his great music, he is one of the artistes in Ghana whose brand has attracted a lot of controversies.
