Spirituality. Juju. Voodoo. Black magic. How do these work in the world of showbiz.

A lot of stories are told of how some people in the showbiz and media space rely on spiritual means to make it in the industry.

While some have rubbished spirituality in showbiz, others also believe that it really works.

‘Sore’ hit maker Yaw Tog seems to have had an encounter with his spiritual nemesis in recent times. He writes in a Twitter post that he got attacked early this year but has been able to bounce back.

“I got defeated early this year but I’m back again and be beware of fake friends❌ please🙏🏾,” he wrote.

He also advised up and coming artistes to take their spiritual lives seriously.

“I Feel like advising the young ones wishing to do music in the near future please be strong in the spiritual world too,” he added.

The 19 year old artiste got the attention of the world when he released his smash hit song ‘Sore’ about two years ago.

The song won a feature from UK grime act Stormzy and earned him a lot of spurs on the international music scene.

He has since released records that have projected his brand from normal rapper in Kumasi to that young rap icon the world’s eye is fixated on.
