Music producer Hammer, has taken Red Eye of 2Toff fame to a rehab centre at Achimota in Accra.
This comes after reports surfaced online that the one-half of the music duo, 2Toff, was experiencing some mental challenges.
A few days ago, in a video sighted by ghanaweekend.com, Hammer was speaking to other inmates of the rehabs, informing them he had brought Red Eye to the facility to seek help.
Hammer talked about how in the past, he got addicted to cigarettes and marijuana but was able to get out of them later.
He however noted that he never went ‘higher’ than these two.
Advising the inmates, Hammer told them to get busy when they recover and leave the rehab centre.

In a new video, he has asked industry stakeholders to support Red Eye financially.
Recounting how he caught wind of Red Eye’s condition, he said he saw a post on social media and decided to follow up.
“A week ago, somebody put out a distressing post on Facebook for a call to action on Red Eye from 2Toff about him being in a bad place and if care wasn’t taken, he would end up in a ditch. It was alarming, so some of us took up the task to find him. We ended up finding him near the fishing harbour at Tema New Town, and we ambushed him and finally got him into a rehab [centre] in Achimota,” he said.

The ace music producer said the great thing about the rehab is that it also has a music studio.
It is not clear what may have caused Red Eye’s current predicament, but ghanaweekend.com sources say he used to be heavy on drugs.
Other Ghanaian musicians who reportedly got mentally challenged probably as a result of their addiction to drugs are Okomfuo Kwaadee, Jay D, Sugartone, the late Bak-Tye, among others.
