Nana Yaa Brefo, is in a serious dilemma concerning her future in the Ghanaian media scene.
The Angel FM/TV presenter is asking her fans for advice on whether she should quit her work in the media industry for a new challenge outside the field.
“Do you think I should just say enough is enough and quit this media job for something different?,” she asked in a video.
In February this year, Nana Yaa Brefo, opened up about the effects of her media job on her married life.
Speaking in an interview with vlogger, Zionfelix, she explained that while her first marriage ended because her husband was cheating on her, her second marriage collapsed because of emotional abuse meted out to her by her husband.
She added that her work in broadcasting also did not help the situation, as she felt that leaving the second marriage could make her a subject for public ridicule.
She admitted that it is very challenging for women to combine married look life with work in the media.
She also attributed the collapsed marriage to her losing her womb due to a medical error.
She said, ” initially it was like it wasn’t a problem, but I realized it was his child that got me into the situation.”
Nonetheless, the co-host of Anopa Bofo Morning Show on Angel FM said, her current husband is okay with the fact that she does not have a woman, and thus could not give birth as a result of a botched operation.
“My current husband is okay.- but I am not in his head,” she added.
