Shatta Wale says the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey has been trying to end his career.
The singe has been accusing industry gatekeepers of sabotage following his non-inclusion into the Global Citizen concert which was held in Accra on September 24.
According to Shatta Wale, Mark has for a long time been using his influence in the entertainment industry to black ball him and make him irrelevant.

“Do you know when Mark Okraku-Mantey started blocking me? Started saying that I won’t make it, I won’t get anywhere in my life?”.
Shatta Wale said Mark used his position as manager of Accra-based Hitz FM to deliberately push an anti-Shatta Wale agenda while promoting other artists to take his spot.
According to him, the Deputy Minister himself once spoke about how he spearheaded an agenda against him after he (Shatta Wale) refused to honour an interview to be interviewed on Hitz FM.
“Mark Okraku-Mantey is the problem of this whole music thing, they are deciding. When he was Programmes Manager at Hitz FM, he said on the radio that because they were calling Shatta Wale for an interview and Shatta Wale didn’t come, so, they decided to create their own hero which was Stonebwoy…,” Shatta Wale alleged.
