Kuami Eugene has made a post that suggests that he may be leaving Lynx Entertainment.
In the tweet that has since been deleted, the ‘Open Gate’ singer wrote, “I try saa say I go stay but Chale I for leff. Suro Nipa,” he tweeted.
It is not clear what his post means, but sources say he may be addressing his record label.
Kuami Eugene was signed by Lynx Entertainment after he took part in the MTN hitmaker contest in 2016. He was the 2nd runner-up in the competition.
He has since produced a lot of hit songs under the record label, played shows in and outside the country and even won the Artiste of the Year award at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
In July, 2022, musician and social commentator Kwame Asare Obeng aka A Plus, hinted that Kuami Eugene had plans of leaving Lynx Entertainment.
Attempts to get Lynx Entertainment executives to respond to the tweet have proven futile.
