Ghanaian reggae musician and broadcaster, Ahmed Abubabkar aka Blakk Rasta, has been ordained as a pastor after graduating from Breakthrough Family Chapel Bible School.
Confirming the news to ghanaweekend.com he wrote: “It’s true. I completed Bible School and got ordained as a Minister of God at the Breakthrough Family Ministries International last Friday.”
Over the years, Blakk Rasta has been very critical of most religions, including Christianity. There were times he even averred that the content of the Bible was distorted because the original manuscripts had been burnt in the past.
Black Rasta, originally born into an Islamic family, jilted Islam at a point for rastafarianism.
He later announced his faith in Christianity and enrolled in a Bible School.
The controversial reggae presenter recently got married to his new wife, years after he lost his first wife.
