Kuami Eugene has revealed that the chart-topping ‘No Dulling’ song by Keche on which he was featured, was his personal song.
He said on ‘Culture Daily’ on 3Music TV that his record label Lynx Entertainment got “mad” at him when he gifted the song to the hiplife duo.
“The label was very mad with ‘No Dulling.’ They will kill me if I say it. They were very mad because ‘No Dulling’ was my song. The chorus was done, everything was done, and when Keche came, I just made them do their verses and within a week boom the song was out there,” he said.
“So they [Lynx Entertainment] were very upset,” he added.

Kuami was talking about some of the disadvantages of working under a record label as an artiste.
According to him, unlike individual artistes, those signed to a record label don’t have the freedom to do what they want.
He also cited an example of when the label decides to reject songs he personally cherishes when compiling them for an album.
That notwithstanding, he also acknowledged how beneficial it is for artistes to be with labels.
A few days ago, Lynx Entertainment announced that it has signed a deal with American record label Empire for their artiste Kuami Eugene.
In a press release signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Lynx Group Limited, Richie Mensah, the “new strategic partnership agreement will see the 2020 Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year expand his horizons as he takes on the world with his music.”
In tandem with this agreement, Kuami Eugene has released his first ‘Single’ for the project.
