Elon Musk is not resting on his oars at all after buying Twitter.
Apart from announcing that he would be charging people for verification, he is also clamping down on parody accounts.
According to him, people who use others’ photos and names other then their real names would have their accounts suspended.
This happened after several celebrity and blue-check verified Twitter users changed their accounts to mimic Elon Musk.
This is exactly what has happened to Ghanaian rapper Medikal.
Medikal’s Twitter account has been blocked for impersonating Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana.
An account @benopaonyx1 reported Medikal to Elon Musk for using Nana Addo’s name and photo.
Medikal is not the only one to have suffered this sanction by Elon Musk.
Comedians Sarah Silverman and Kathy Griffin also got punished for parodying Elon Musk over the weekend.
