Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah (Lil Win) says he is the highest-paid footballer in Ghana.
Lil Win says he is convinced that his two-year contract with Division 1 club, New Edubiase FC is the most lucrative in accross all local leagues.
“The whole of Ghana, I’m the highest paid footballer. I’m not talking about those playing internationally, I’m talking about those who are playing in the Ghana Premier League”, Lil Win stressed.
The comedian became a professional player for Ashanti Region-based 1st Division Club, New Edubiase FC for the 2021-2022 football season.
On November, 18, 2021, football news reporter, Saddick Adams, tweeted a picture of the official Ghana Football Association (GFA) league players’ card to confirm the actor’s new status as a sportsman.
The ‘Kumawood’ actor, who is currently out with an injury, has only played four matches since he was signed to the club. “I got injured in my last match, so I’ve been out with an injury, I have played only four games”, he told Andy Dosty.
