Wizkid, says he wants to be like Bob Nesta Marley.
Speaking during a discussion about his yet-to-be-premiered album titled, “More Love, Less Ego,” the Afropop superstar said he wants to impact the world through his music like the late reggae icon.
“I want to live forever. “Not physically, but for whatever I create to live forever,” he explained.
“Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley play, and this guy died decades ago,” he said in reaction to the late Bob Marley’s “Get Up, Stand Up,” which was played during the interview.
He continued, “I didn’t even know that he died at 36.” He did so much at such a young age. It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights.
“Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me.”
