It is quite obvious that the bond between Kuami Eugene and his househelp (Mary) keeps getting stronger and stronger, a situation which is making many people believe that the two are in love.
Kuami Eugene has a new song titled Single, featuring his housekeeper, Mary.
He revealed on Hitz FM that Mary was his back up vocalist during the production of the song.
Many believe this could be Mary’s breakthrough in music if she decides to take it serious.
Three months ago, television show host, Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, expressed her thoughts about Kuami Eugene’s relationship with his house help, Mary.
According to her, she had watched many love tales and noticed how they start. She said it takes someone who has a “third eye” to notice how relationships begin and blossom.
During her Delay Show, she said that the chemistry between Kuami Eugene and Mary raise eyebrows, and while most people will never know, she feels their feelings for each other will blossom into something lovely in the near future.
Delay also stated that she would not be surprised if Kuami Eugene eventually settles down with his housekeeper, Mary, as a wife.
On multiple occasions, Kuami Eugene had brought Mary in his social media posts.
The two were also spotted happily cruising around in a car alone.
However, contrary to rumours that he is in a romantic relationship with his househelp, the singer says he is single.
The 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) ‘Artist of the Year’ opened up on his relationship status in his new track titled “Single.”
According to him, he used to be in a toxic relationship, but he is now single and ready to mingle.
“I have been that guy that put my emotions and everything in my music from ‘Wish Me Well’ to ‘Obiaa To’ to ‘Open Gate’, the things that I have been through, what I am going through, anything that moves me and the message I want to share with the world and ‘Single’ is another one.
I have been through it for some past months, and I am still in the process of being the strong guy that I am, but everything in life takes time, so I am single for now,” he said.
The “Bunker” hitmaker however emphasized that he is not heartbroken despite what happened.
“This is actually not a broken heart, it’s about me being single for now because I was in a toxic relationship, I am no more in that relationship and that makes me single for now.”
