Controversial dancehall artist Shatta Wale says he is the master planner of everything he has been through since he started his music career.
Speaking on Accra-based Nhyira FM in an interview, Shatta disclosed that he tries to be controversial on various issues because he is patriotic and passionate about things that affect ordinary people.
According to the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year, he keeps making it in the news because he is “too patriotic to keep quiet” on things that are not right in the country, especially in the music industry where he finds himself.
“I can say that I’m patriotic, apart from me being patriotic, and unfortunately the kind of job I do is in public, so it makes it easier for people to speak about Shatta, so it’s just my job.” Shatta Wale told Nhyira FM.
“Many people don’t know themselves, but I can tell you that, everything I do, is planned, so it will get to the point where people will understand me.”
