Vanessa, the ex-wife of Ghanaian comedian Funny Face, has fired back at critics who slammed her for suggesting that she might reconcile with him.
In a lengthy Instagram video, Vanessa defended her decision, saying that she has three children with Funny Face and that they share a strong connection.
“I am not a hypocrite, at the end of the day, Nana Yaw [Funny Face] did not state anywhere that I did him harm,” Vanessa said.
“I am not stupid; I am a mother. Most of you will not understand me. Between Nana Yaw and myself we had issues and people did not understand the interview I did. But let me tell you something. A man with whom I have three kids.
Three solid kids! There is no right-thinking person who will condemn my decision to want to reconcile with him.”
Vanessa went on to say that there is a difference between a man you are dating and a man you have children with.
“There is a connection,” she said. “Be smart and don’t be naïve. We still share a connection. Even if I have wronged him, he still loves his children, I love the children too and there’s a connection. Your mentality is too naïve and childish. Listen to people and don’t be ignorant.”
