Michy, the mother of Dancehall King Shatta Wale’s son, Majesty, is optimistic that her son will follow in his father’s footsteps.
To help him become a musical prodigy, Michy took Majesty to the studio to record some excerpts of their unreleased song.
Majesty confidently sat behind the microphone and recorded the intro to their song. He used a slang he shared with his mother to suggest that he will rise above the crooked system.
“Where are we going?” Michy asked to which Majesty responded “higherrrrrrrrr”.
The excerpts shared on social media have evoked some excitement in music lovers, especially members of the Shatta Movement (SM) fraternity.
It remains to be seen if Majesty will be able to live up to the expectations of his father and his fans, but Michy is confident that he has what it takes to succeed.
“He’s a natural talent,” she said. “He’s got the voice, the charisma, and the stage presence. He’s going to be a star.”
Majesty is not the only child of Shatta Wale who is showing an interest in music. His older brother, Tyron, is also a talented musician.
It will be interesting to see if either of Shatta Wale’s sons can match his success in the music industry. However, with the support of their mother and father, they have a good chance of achieving their dreams.
