Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame has disagreed with the advice that people should never have any contact with their exes.
In a video Ghana Weekend has sighted, Okyeame Kwame said that he believes it is possible to have a healthy relationship with your ex, as long as you are honest and transparent with your current partner.
“If I have a terminal disease and my ex-lover is the only doctor who can save me, I would call her for help,” Okyeame Kwame said. “But I would definitely seek my wife’s consent first.”
When asked what he would do if his wife refused to let him seek help from his ex, Okyeame Kwame told Nana Adwoa Annan that, “Then I have married a very wicked woman.”
Okyeame Kwame is married to Annica Nsiah-Apau, with whom he has two children: Santi and Sir Kwame Bota. Annica is also his manager.

Ghana Weekend believes that it is important to be honest and transparent with your current partner if you are going to have contact with your ex.
It is also important to set boundaries and make sure that your relationship with your ex does not interfere with your current relationship.
