World-renowned music executive and father of global music icon Beyoncé, Mathew Knowles, has praised Ghanaian-made timepieces Caveman Watches for crafting a custom watch for his daughter.
The unique and exquisite Beyoncé Caveman watch was presented to Knowles at the ‘To The Top Seminar 2023’ hosted by the Eat Drink Music Festival in Accra, Ghana, where he was a keynote speaker.
The watch, inspired by Beyoncé’s iconic persona and style, is a limited-edition masterpiece that pays homage to her musical journey.
It features intricate designs and elements that capture the essence of her performances, including a 444-fallen bee wing dial and a dancing tourbillon.
Knowles was captivated by the watchmaking process and the final product, calling it “the best brand story he has ever seen” and the watchmaker, Anthony Dzamefe, “a genius.”
Dzamefe, who handcrafted the watch over 500 hours, said it was inspired by Beyoncé’s nickname, “Queen Bee,” and her fanbase, the Beehive. He said the watch is “a masterpiece fit for a queen.”
