The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the EIB Network Bola Ray has eulogised the breakthrough success of Afrobeats artist King Promise.
Known in real life as Gregory Bortey Newman, King Promise has been on the rise in the Afrobeats scene for a few years now, but his breakthrough success came with the release of “Terminator” in early 2023.
The song has quickly become one of the biggest hits of the year, and it has helped to make King Promise a household name in Ghana and beyond.
In a Facebook post, Bola Ray shared an old photo with King Promise and said he knew the ”Terminator’ crooner was destined for greatness. According to the media mogul, he saw a gem from the very first day he saw King Promise.
He advised, “Don’t despise small beginnings…Keep winning King…It is possible”
