Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay recently made headlines when he extended a shout-out to a female fan named Fafa, with whom he shared the stage during a performance on the European leg of his ‘Boy Alone Tour’ at the Eventim Apollo in London on Tuesday, February 20th.
Previously, Omah Lay sparked controversy by inviting a female fan, reportedly attending the concert with her boyfriend, to join him onstage during his rendition of the song ‘Bend You.’ Videos circulating online, captured by concert attendees, ignited criticism and debate over their actions.
Despite facing significant backlash, Omah Lay took the initiative to reach out to the fan, expressing his affection for her. In a circulating video on social media, British-Nigerian media personality Shopsydoo encouraged Omah Lay to give a shout-out to the fan, identified as Fafa.
