Fast-rising Nigerian singer Ayra Starr stirred conversations among netizens when she unveiled her ambitious plans for women.
The Mavin star, known for her hit song “Sabi Girl,” expressed in an interview her desire to ease life for women if she were to become president for a day.
However, her statement didn’t sit well with some male fans, leading to criticism. Ayra Starr ignited a heated debate among the opposite sex with her proposal to improve conditions for women if she held presidential power for a day.
The songstress, recognized for her advocacy of feminism, openly shared her intentions to facilitate a better life for her gender.
She revealed this during the interview, also mentioning how former US President Obama included her song ‘Rush’ in his playlist. According to the Mavin star, she would ensure that women wouldn’t have to bear any financial burdens if she were granted a day in the presidential seat.
