Renowned actor and movie director, Prince David Osei, has publicly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and urged Ghanaians to consider the party’s vision for the nation’s future.

Speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, August 18, 2024, Prince David Osei expressed strong confidence in the party’s leadership, particularly highlighting the achievements of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He emphasized that the NPP offers the bold solutions necessary to uplift Ghana and help the country reach its full potential.

The actor called on Ghanaians to support and vote for the NPP to ensure prosperity and progress for the nation. “A vote for the NPP is a vote for posterity. I understand that times are tough, but it’s a global challenge,”Mr. Osei stated, acknowledging the economic difficulties being felt worldwide, including in countries like the UK, the US, Canada, and neighboring Nigeria.

Prince David Osei, also cautioned against supporting other parties, specifically the NDC, suggesting that doing so could have serious consequences for Ghana’s future.

He reminded Ghanaians of the relief measures provided by the NPP government during the COVID-19 pandemic, including free electricity and water, as well as financial assistance for small businesses. He also highlighted the progress made in digitalization under the NPP, citing the digital property address system and the Ghana Card as key achievements that voters should consider.

“Vote for progress. Vote Bawumia. Vote Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the incoming president,” he concluded, urging Ghanaians to choose continuity and advancement with the NPP.
