Ex-Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has explained his position regarding politics in Ghana.
According to him he is no longer affiliated with any political party in the country.
In a statement issued via social media, the former skipper of the Black Stars indicated that he has not been fair to the youth thus he is now going to ensure that the youth of Ghana are empowered and provided with the environment to thrive.
He vowed never to go into politics but would provide equal opportunities for all Ghanaian youth, especially those who are talented in sports, to excel.
Asamoah Gyan emphasized that he will use his foundation, among other opportunities available to him to ensure that the Ghanaian youth is empowered.
