Ghanaian entrepreneur and former Guinness World Records contender, Afua Asantewaa, has officially announced her second attempt at breaking the record for the “Longest Singing Marathon by an Individual.”
In a social media post on November 15, 2024, Afua revealed that the highly anticipated event is set to take place on December 21, 2024.
However, she did not disclose the exact duration of her upcoming challenge.
“Here we go!!! I’m excited and ready,” she captioned.
The announcement has garnered widespread support, with numerous fans, celebrities, and fellow Ghanaians commending her determination.
Afua first attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Singing Marathon by an Individual” in December 2023.
The event, held from December 24 to 29, received overwhelming support from Ghanaians locally and abroad.
Despite the successful execution of the event, Guinness World Records disqualified her attempt due to breaches of certain guidelines.
