P-Square first broke up in 2017 after years of internal conflicts and public feuds over management, finances, and creative direction.
Peter Okoye, Afrobeat singer and one half of the defunct singing twins, P-Square, has blamed fans for the group’s breakup.
Jude Okoye, the twins’ elder brother who owned a significant share of their company PClassic Label also got dragged into the messy breakup.
However, speaking during the AYLIVE show, Peter said fans’ habit of constantly comparing him and his brother, Paul, fueled tension and ego issues between them.
Peter argued that fans’ favouritism towards one brother over the other created divisions, ultimately leading to the group’s split.
He said: “Fans are the reason Psquare no dey together today.
“Two brothers dey do one thing, ona dey talk say one better pass one, e con enter one head, he begin misbehave.
“If ona like make ona dey go house, I no send una.”

While the brothers were together as PSquare, the group had huge commercial success which saw them selling out stadiums across Africa.
