Ghanaian music producer and musician GuiltyBeatz has stated that his recent Grammy nomination has significantly elevated his value in the global music space.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Ghana Weekend’s Sally Quaicoe on Friday May 30, GuiltyBeatz shared that the recognition has not only enhanced his profile but also opened new doors for collaboration and storytelling.
“The Grammy nomination has increased my value in the music world. It has opened doors for me and given me a platform to tell my story and work with different people,” he said.
GuiltyBeatz earned four nominations at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best Global Music Album, Best African Music Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Progressive R&B Album. These nominations were tied to his contributions to various projects featuring artistes such as Tems.
He went on to win the Grammy for Best African Music Performance for his production work on Tems’s song “Love Me Jeje.”
This achievement marks a major milestone in his career, further solidifying his status as one of Africa’s most influential and internationally recognized producers.
