Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso, widely known as Delay, has urged young people to stay hopeful and steadfast despite life’s challenges.
She shared this in a post on her Facebook page. Reflecting on her own struggles, Delay recalled a time when she could barely afford basic necessities like proper meals. She expressed deep gratitude for her journey since founding Delay Foods over two decades ago.
“It feels like just yesterday I couldn’t afford a decent meal. Now, my small venture, Delay Foods, boasts 10 product variants! And we’re just getting started, since 2004,” she wrote.
Delay also opened up about a challenging period when she faced homelessness and uncertainty as a young woman, unsure of her path forward.
“I was homeless, with no direction in life. Sitting here now, I’m in awe of how merciful God has been to me,” she shared.
She concluded with an uplifting message to her followers: “Never give up on yourself. Help is on the way!”
