Today marks the birthday of one of Ghana’s most iconic media moguls and visionary leaders, Samuel Attah-Mensah, widely known as SAMMENS and affectionately called Papa by the staff of Citi FM and Channel One TV.

More than just a personal milestone, this day is a celebration of a man whose influence goes far beyond broadcasting.

As Managing Director of Citi FM and Channel One TV, Papa has shaped countless lives through mentorship, opportunity, and steadfast leadership. For many, he was the door into the media world, and the guide who helped them find their way.

A father figure, a disciplinarian in the pursuit of excellence, a walking encyclopedia, and above all, a man of heart.
SAMMENS is a rare blend of wisdom, empathy, and quiet strength.

His impact stretches well beyond the walls of his office, reaching deep into communities and touching individual lives in profound ways.

On this special day, we honour the leader, the teacher, the father, and the friend that Papa is to us all.

We thank you for the platform you’ve built, the standards you uphold, and the humanity you consistently embody.

Happy Birthday, Papa. May your smile never fade, your wisdom never dim, and your strength never wane. You are a blessing, not only to us, your staff but to Ghana as a whole.

Ayekoo, SAMMENS. Here’s to many more impactful years ahead.
