The Gomoa Easter Carnival has officially been launched in Accra, bringing together dignitaries, entertainment personalities, and other high-profile guests.
The event is curated by the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus).
The carnival promises four days of packed activities featuring music, dance, food, arts, and cultural displays aimed at showcasing the vibrant spirit of Gomoa.
Performances are also expected from top Ghanaian artistes including Samini, Shatta Wale, and Kuami Eugene alongside other acts scheduled across the four days.
Minister of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture Dzifa Gomashie used the occasion to commend A Plus for the initiative and pledged her ministry’s support for the event.
Speaking at the launch, A Plus highlighted the importance of the carnival in creating opportunities and promoting the cultural and tourism potential of Gomoa.
