Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has made history by becoming the first African rapper to sell out the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.
The landmark achievement came during his Rapperholic UK concert which was held on Ghana Independence Day marking a proud moment not only for Ghana but for African music as a whole.
The sold-out show highlighted the global reach of Ghanaian hip-hop and the growing influence of African artistes on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.

The historic night featured a powerful lineup of international and African stars who joined Sarkodie to celebrate music and culture. Among the artistes who performed were British-Ghanaian rapper Stormzy and UK drill star Headie One.
