Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and producer 6UFF is steadily carving out a unique space for himself in Africa’s fast-growing music industry. Known for his bold lyricism, genre-blending sound and distinctive artistic identity, the Anambra State-born musician has become one of the emerging voices pushing the boundaries of contemporary African hip-hop.

Born Okwudili Onyeka Okoli on July 24, 1990, 6UFF first built a reputation behind the scenes as a music producer before transitioning into a recording career of his own. Starting his musical journey at the age of 14 and turning professional by 19, his ability to combine hard-hitting rap flows with elements of Afrobeat and Afro-fusion has helped him develop a sound that appeals to a new generation of listeners across the continent.

Over the years, 6UFF has released a number of projects that have showcased his artistic growth and versatility. Tracks such as Van Dijk, Commander and 10 Minutes have helped introduce audiences to his energetic style, while projects including his Bad Meets Evil EP, Intruder EP, Menace To Society, Menace To Society II and the IRON ORE EP have further established his presence within Nigeria’s competitive music landscape.

His music often reflects themes of ambition, resilience and self-belief, resonating with young listeners navigating similar experiences. Industry observers have also noted his willingness to experiment with different sounds while maintaining a strong lyrical foundation.

Beyond his solo work, 6UFF has collaborated with several notable artists, including ODUMODUBLVCK, Teni, Ajebo Hustlers and Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog. These collaborations have expanded his reach and introduced his music to wider audiences across Africa.

Recent releases such as Prodigy, IDI AMIN and CATALYST have generated increasing attention online, with fans praising his authenticity and creative approach to storytelling. And even more recently Alibomaye (feat. Teni), showing relentless efforts in leaving an indelible mark on the scene as compared on a mere scratch.

As African hip-hop continues to gain international recognition, artists like 6UFF represent a new wave of talent determined to leave a lasting mark on the global stage. While still on the rise, his growing catalogue and expanding fan base tells he is an artist worth watching in the years ahead.
