Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has sparked reactions on social media after sharing a humorous post following the Black Stars’ 1-0 defeat to Colombia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Reacting to Ghana’s elimination from the tournament, Shatta Wale joked that he had predicted the outcome based on the team’s goalkeeper selection.
In a post on X, the musician wrote: “I told my wife if it’s that goalkeeper dierr they will score us quick.”
The comment came shortly after Colombia edged Ghana 1-0 to book their place in the Round of 16, ending the Black Stars’ World Cup campaign.
